Be a part of our fantastic team of volunteers. There are a wide range of opportunities that you are able to get involved in as often or as little as you like. Roles include, helping at events, maintaining the building, invigilation of shows, helping at workshops and much much more. Whatever your skills are we will have a role for you.

Fundraising Committee Member
Would you like to join our Fundraising Committee? We are looking for someone that will be able to bring fresh ideas of how we can raise money for the GAF Centre. This may include contacting businesses for sponsorship, organising campaigns as well as applying for funding.

Events Volunteer
Events volunteers providing assistance at a range of events such as coffee mornings, music performances and much more. As an events volunteer you may be meeting & greeting visitors, serving refreshments or taking tickets.

Heritage Volunteer
Heritage volunteers will be a valuable part of our Heritage Open Days in September where they will be interacting with visitors providing information on the local history of Bursledon. We are also keen for volunteers who would like to assist with researching and looking after the archive.

Marketing Volunteer
We are currently looking for marketing volunteers who will be able to assist with publicising events as well as the GAF Centre. This is varied role depending on your skills and interests. It may include uploading information to online websites and social media as well as market research.

Arts Volunteer
Are you creative? Perhaps you would like to assist at our art events and workshops.

Maintenance
By joining the maintance team you will be assisting in looking after a grade II listed building with a variety of tasks. This could also involve set building and moving of furniture.
