Heritage Open Days

During the Heritage Open Days weekend GAF will be celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Conservation areas. We will be putting on a range of events and activities at our Grade II listed building situated in the Old Bursledon conservation area. On both the Saturday & Sunday there will be heritage displays on the Hamble River & its villages, an art exhibition, craft activities and much much more. We also have a FREE tour running on Saturday & Sunday, please see below for details.
Saturday 9th September at 1pm Tour of Old Bursledon to include Greyladyes Park by our local historian Jeff Martin.
Sunday 10th September at 1pm tour by ranger Jenny Wedick of Site of Special Scientific Interest Hacketts Marsh. This is an extra special tour as this nature reserve is normally closed to the public and can only be visited on organised tours. Approx 1 – 1.5 hour duration.
