Sunday 1 March 2020 @ 15:00 – 17:00
A talk at GAF by well-known economist Bronwyn Curtis
Bronwyn started life as a ballet dancer, about to join the Australian National Ballet when she switched to do a degree in economics that “was the basis of my whole career”. As a world-renowned economist who advises high profile politicians and governments she held senior positions in a man’s world. She has served on over a dozen world rated banking, economic and academic institutions in a very senior executive capacity; and was awarded the OBE in 2008. She will share insights from her journey, work and family life. Bronwyn is a very keen sailor, a long time member of the Royal Southern and where she gave this highly successful lecture recently.
