In addition to restoring the Grade II listed building GAF holds an archive of photographs and information about Bursledon and the surrounding Hamble Valley.

GAF also hold events, talks and workshops about the history and heritage of the local area with special emphasis on boat building and marine activities

History weekend Aug 2006; A weekend of events celebrating the local history. A display of photographs and artefacts. The public brought along items of interest which were digitally recorded.
