The GAF centre is located in School Road Old Bursledon. it is a Grade II listed building originally built as a ballroom for the Greyladyes House which is adjacent. It was then converted to a catholic chapel .

In 2003 the Catholic church decided that it no longer required a Chapel in Bursledon and announced that the building was for sale.
Greyladyes Arts Foundation was formed and via donations the Chapel was purchased in 2005. Since then Gaf has worked to improve the facilities and turn the chapel into an Arts Centre for south Hampshire
