Gaf ran a stimulating Children's Clay Modelling Project funded by the Find Your Talent scheme delivered through a partnership of Hampshire County Council, Portsmouth City Council and Southampton City Council in the south east region, called the Partnership for Urban South Hampshire (PUSH).

The project which ran throughout November and December 2009 ended with a celebratory event at the Greyladyes Chapel in Bursledon on Saturday 6th February. With Gaf's successful Adult Sculpture Classes in mind, Gaf staff encouraged the children to make small figures which form and poses were inspired by the space they would inhabit in and around the chapel. The local children who attended where taught how to remove air bubbles from the clay and how to work with the clay in one piece giving it the best chance of not breaking when fired in a kiln. The celebratory event was a great way to end the project with the children proudly exhibiting they're figures around the chapel where Gaf trustees & staff, friends of Gaf, a Find Your Talent team member and local families/residents came to see the results of the children's hardwork.
